Feast One Hundred & Seventy Six

Appetizer: What is your favorite beverage?
    Coffee.

Soup: Name 3 things that are on your computer desk at home or work.

    1. Cell phone (Nokia 3100, pink).
    2. Old (from seventies or so) Donald Ducks.
    3. Cross stitch project.

Salad: On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being highest), how honest do you think you are?
9½. I am honest to a fault in general.

Dessert: What stresses you out? What calms you down?
I find insecurity stressful. Calming effect... cross stitching, good conversations (I have had those quite much recently ^^ - good flirting counts for good conversation too... *cough*), music.

Friday's Feast

Feast One Hundred & Sixty Eight

Appetizer: Which snack do you like to get when you go to the movies?
None as I am allergic to so many things that it is easier not to buy anything to snack.

Soup: What year did you start using the internet?
T3h intt4rw3b... I used IRC first time in 1992, but as that don't count IMO, I lost my internet virginity in 1995.

Salad: What is your first name in Pig Latin? (Here’s how to speak it if you don’t already know!)
Utioay

Main Course: Name something you are picky about.
It would be easier to ask what I am *not* picky about.

Dessert:Fill in the blanks: I ____ ____ yesterday and I ____ ____ today.
Sorry folks, I have never liked this kind of stuff so I won't fill up anything. *evil grin*

Friday's Feast

Feast One Hundred & Sixty Two

Appetizer: How are you today?

Fine, thanks. Though I have a nasty cough. (As one of my course mates said: "You know, that sounds quite dangerous..." *grin*)
Soup: Name 3 television shows you watch on a regular basis.
I don't watch any as I don't watch TV. If you count series on DVD my list goes as following:

    1. House M.D.
    2. Fawlty Towers
    3. Black Adder
Salad: What’s the scariest weather situation you’ve experienced?
Well, as I live in a country without huge hurricanes (we just get those tiny ones) and I don't find blizzards scary, as you kind of get used to them when you live somewhere almost thirty years, I have to say that I have experienced no such thing as scary weather.
Main Course: If you could wake up tomorrow morning in another country, where would you want to be?
Oh my. Anywhere if it would be with someone who gets me and who I get (I think the word normal people use is love). Otherwise somewhere warm, humid and cheap.
Dessert: What do you usually wear to sleep?
Sleeping with your clothes on is SO twisted. I prefer to sleep au naturel.

Friday's Feast in Saturday

Long time, no FF. Here it comes again

Appetizer: What is your favorite type of art?
Ask that from a person who has got an artistic education and you won't get an answer.
I like art I find aesthetically pleasing, spite of its genre. (Imressionism, realism, kubism, expressionism, dada, pop art... you don't want that I go on.)

Soup: When was the last time you got a free lunch (or breakfast or dinner)? Who paid for it?
I assume that mothers don't count so it goes back to last year. My then-FWB, N., paid for it (all apply).

Salad: On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how emotional are you?
9

Main Course:Approximately how long do you spend each day responding to emails?
I don't take time.

Dessert:To what temperature do you usually set your home’s thermostat?
20 ° C, but for some occult reason it's always at least 24 ° C. But I like it, mostly.

Friday's Feast

After a long, long break it's time for feasting again!

Feast One Hundred & Fifty Six

Appetizer: Describe your laundry routine. Do you have a certain day when you do it all, or do you just wash whatever you need for the next day?
I don't have a spesific day for it, I do the laundry when I have the energy.

Soup: In your opinion, what age will you be when you’ll consider yourself to truly be old?
Hmm... even I love to say how old I am in the end I think that I won't feel myself old before my health fails so badly that I can't do everything I want to.
Honestly speaking I have felt really old this summer because of the respiratory problems - you would be surprised if you'd try living few months lacking oxygen, it's very tiring. (It hasn't been just once or twice when I have been giggling to the fact that I know more agile 80 year olds than I am at 28 without proper asthma treatment.)

Salad: What is one of your goals? Is it short-term, long-term, or both?
I have so many pet goals that I don't know which to choose... One of them is to get that darned asthma diagnose and get SII to pay my re-education.

Main Course: Name something unbelievable you’ve seen or read lately.
Nothing surprises me when it comes to human kind so I can't name anything...

Dessert: On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how happy are you today?
Eight. (It will rise up when I get my next salbutamol dose... oxygen does wonders to your mood and is therefore very addictive. )

It's time for breakfast

Feast One Hundred & Forty Six
Appetizer: Name something you think is “the best.”
If I must... White chocolate & Apricot ice cream. Oh, those lovely chunks of white chocolate...

Soup: On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 highest), how stressed are you today?
5. I am almost always slightly stressed because I am a worrywart.

Salad: What kind of cleanser do you use to wash your face?
In general I don't. Sometimes I scrub my face, but that's about all. Works for me (look at the user picture (or click this) and judge yourself).

Main Course: Tonight is a blue moon! What is something that you believe only happens “once in a blue moon.”
Human beings think.

Dessert: When was the last time it rained where you live?
I am quite sure it rained last time last night. We have had wonderfully tropical weather up here North lately and I am loving it: rain, humidity, heat... I seem to have became a tropical being.

Friday's Feast

Feast One Hundred & Thirty One

Appetizer: What sound, other than the normal ringing, would you like your telephone to make?
Have you ever heard of cell phones?
My cells have nice variety of tunes so I can't think of anything.

Soup: Describe your usual disposition in meteorological terms (partly cloudy, sunny, stormy, etc.).
Sunny, with occasional cloudiness. Lately... well, it has been raining, but I think it has been all about blockage in my creativity. (Someone stayed up until 3 am and designed, and feels much better now.)

Salad: What specific subject do you feel you know better than any other subjects?
I am Jack of many trades, so I can't choose.

Main Course: Imagine you were given the ability to remember everything you read for one entire day. Which books/magazines/newspapers would you choose to read?
Bible, both parts. That would give me great weapon against all the fundamentalists who claim to know things better... Great book, but badly misread and understood.

Dessert: If a popular candy maker contacted you to create their next confection, what would it be like and what would you name it?
I don't eat enough candy to be able to answer...

Friday is the day for feasts

Feast One Hundred & Twenty Eight

Appetizer: If you could take lessons to learn any musical instrument, which would you want to learn?
Flute! I have always wanted one as I love the sound of it (though I know it's difficult instrument).

Soup: Have you ever mistaken a person for someone else?
Surely.

Salad:
On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how well do you keep secrets?

9½.

Main Course: What's the closest you've ever been to a dangerous animal?
Define "dangerous animal". Humans are dangerous, I was close to one... yesterday.

Dessert: When was the last time you lost your patience?
It happens so often I can't recall... ok, not really. I really can't remember.

ETA: My dear feasters, please leave your blog's url so I can pop by to enjoy your servings.

Friday's Feast

Feast One Hundred & Twenty Seven

Appetizer: Which television shows do you just refuse to miss?
I don't watch TV so there's no such thing.

Soup: Who did you last speak to on the telephone?
Ermm... my dermatologist, I think.

Salad: How many pillows do you keep on your bed?
Do cats count? Depending on my mood etc. anything from one to four.

Main Course: Name one addition to your computer (software, hardware, etc.) that you'd love to have.
One?! Choose one: bigger hard disk/ laser printer/ WLAN adapter/scanner...

Dessert: What is your favorite foreign food?
Erm... in my books there is no such thing as foreign food. I guess that makes me a freak then.

It's feasting time!

Feast One Hundred & Twenty Six

Appetizer: What comes to mind when you see the color orange?
Oranges, sun.

Soup: Did you ever get in trouble while you were in school? If so, what was it for?
Just ask how often... Try to be intelligent kid who questions everything, and usually knows more than her teachers. It was great fun.... not.

Salad: Which topping(s) make up your perfect pizza?
Taking that I'd eat it... anyway, mozzarella or spinach pizzas are quite ok.

Main Course: Do you believe in UFOs/aliens/etc.? Why or why not?
If I throw something you can't recognise it is an U.F.O. so why wouldn't I believe in them? *grin*
When it comes to possible intelligent lifeforms out there.... one can only hope. Here's none, that's for sure (except cats, dolphins and white mice).

Dessert: What color is your bedspread/comforter/quilt?
Don't use bedspread (sloppy, yes). And the colour of comforter depends on what you mean with it - as my dictionary gives two different possibilities...

In other news

Just waiting when that cortisone causes that promised insomnia. 16 hours awake, 10 hours sleep.... that begins to sound like normal person's life.

Stash fairies? (And a Friday's Feast)

They have to be, they are in my stash shelf.

ETA: Sneakily added Friday's Feast...

Feast One Hundred & Twenty Five

Appetizer: Which celebrity (or celebrities) do you think will make headlines this year?
Couldn't be less interested...

Soup: They say that good things come in small packages? What is something little that you think is great?
Define "small". My cats, rooibos spiced with orange, cell phones, my biscornu designs (they come from my little brain cell)...

Salad: Name a song that makes you want to dance.
Rather "Name a song that doesn't make you dance".

Main Course: What is your favorite font?
Trebuchet MS.

Dessert: If you were to write a do-it-yourself article, what would it be about?
Most likely about some finishing technique.

Feasting time...

With family or other important people. This year I'm changing the year with my cats and stitching.

Soup: Name one thing unexpected that happened to you in 2006.
Trip to Thailand, for example. Not that I had planned falling in love, or failing in it either...

Salad: Where was your favorite place that you visited in 2006?
See previous.

Main Course: What resolution is your top priority for 2007?
I don't do New Year's resolutions (only screen resolutions *grin*).

Dessert: Using just three words, describe 2006.
Maturity - love - surprises.

Friday's Feast

Feast One Hundred & Twenty

Appetizer: Have you ever flown in a helicopter?
No.

Soup: What color is your warmest coat or jacket?
One I use or one I have? I have this pink false fur coat... I've never used it though, and it should be modified a bit as I've lost some weight after it's been done.
And warmest one I use is, of course, black.

Salad: What is your favorite rainy day activity?
Are you sure you want to know? *g* Anything from spending time (in several ways *ahem*) with someone I love, stitching, sleeping, dreaming... what ever catches my fancy.

Main Course:Describe your hands.
Five fingers.
It wasn't enough?! O_o Ok, five fingers, dryish skin, long nails which are in desperate need of new nail polish.

Dessert: If you could eat only one nut for the rest of your life, what nut would you pick?
Easy, none, as I am allergic to nuts.

Friday's Feast: 118

This week's questions are all from Ammy

Appetizer: Do you believe there is intelligent life on other planets?
Well, there's barely intelligent life in this one... So, one's living in hope.

Soup: What is one thing you said you'd never do, but you eventually did?
Hmm... there's thing or two, but... Not telling (that's something you might want to know though).

Salad: Who is the teacher that influenced you the most in school?
Ermm....

Main Course: If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would it be and why?
Now why would I want to do something like that?

Dessert: What is your favorite dish to prepare?
Anything actually if I've good company to enjoy it with.
