Scent of a woman and other notions

It's interesting how some things grow on you.

My latest growth is Tom Tailor's New Experience ("female version").
I got a small sample bottle of it when N. bribed me last autumn (ok, it was a gift because I am so best *grin*) with CK's Be and now when the bottle (New Experience, Be is still alive and well) is officially empty I have got hooked to NE even I didn't like it at all when I tried it for the first time. O_o
Fortunately it seems to be rather reasonably priced so I can actually afford to buy it without finding another sugar daddy... (Not that I would mind a good quality sugar daddy... any takers? )

The interesting thing is that I am known as a person who can say do I like some scent just by looking at the bottle - and, even though NE's bottle is rather simplisistic I could never have guessed that I will like it.
Probably one of the reasons is... the colour. "Red scents" are usually rather teeny, and I haven't used any of the reds (scentwise) since I was... 13. (I exclude Jõvan (absolutely wonderful slightly flowery musk) because it has red/green bottle.)
I moved to black bottles i.e. very mature scents when I was sixteen and I have enjoyed my life in that category until now (by the way, Be is also in black bottle)...

Apparently this is part of the change I am going through. I have noticed lately some physical changes in me which shouldn't appear at this age... for example my nose is getting narrower and that shouldn't happen in mature age of 28 without surgeon's kind assistance.

Not that I am complaining, I have never liked my nose because it has been more of my father's nose (i.e. wide) than my mother's nose (narrow) and now I quite pleased with how it looks like (though I could still give few millimeters back to mother Nature).
In general I am becoming more and more alike my mother when time passes - which is all good (I can say that I have another 28 years left before I begin to look old in any sense - and probably longer as I take better care of my skin that my mother (one of those great traits in women of my family: we mature early, but still we stay young longer)).

Scent of a Woman - and other notions

Is it a good or bad sign when the perfume you use affects also males of other species? Or rather it only seems to works on them - not that I was in contact with local human males that much. (You know my issues.)
Last night Neko, my beloved eunuch (and almost perfect man, excluding his species, inability to speak, being an eunuch... those little things grin*), got rather, would I say amorous and I can't find any other reason for it than my musky perfume. But I have "always" used musk and this is the first time he gets excited over it.
Though, what am I complaining... I had a handsome male purring happily on my arms. *giggle*

A way to wake up

Not that I actually slept, more like dozed off, woke up and dozed off again...
I got out of bed some time ago and noticed that I had sold my first while I was asleep.
May not sound fancy, but taking that I haven't been jumping around shamelessly advertising myself I think it is quite good achievement. And, fact is, that everything I did between 10th of January and 1st of March was only molding the base, this is when the building begins.

Still... it feels great.

But now, off to make coffee, have a quick shower and do some more business! After it it is time for our beloved dragon Futurecast! (I have time to finish the CH#1 item in next week.)

They should come and take me away, ha-ha...

I blame on my odd brains on having scent hallucinations (I'm not getting into that sort I sometimes have during migraines), and sometimes they can be rather entertaining, but sometimes... Some time ago I came from shower and went to kitchen to get another cup of coffee (Brainamp should shut oneself up. We don't need Mike and the Mechanics right now ("...she pours herself another cup of coffee....")) when I felt a scent of a man. Question is how, why and what for as it was seemingly impossible.
There's no males around here (cats don't count), nor have been since... too long ago?
I haven't put any perfume yet, and my shower gel or shampoo doesn't have that sort of scent (though I realised few days ago that my shampoo (chocolate and vanilla) and shower gel (coffee and chocolate (do we see a pattern here?)) smells like Bvlgari (explains why I liked W's scent *grin* (I'm beginning to think that it (editor's note: failure of us) was all just being too similar in 'wrong' things))) nor they have strong enough scent to survive that long on my skin - and I'd have recognized them.

Sometimes I do question my sanity. Though I know it's most likely connected with my migraines etc., as (sometimes) I've visual hallucinations during migraine attacks and I reason them with problems in blood circulation. I see no reason why these wouldn't be from the same source.
Actually I'm getting on the sane side... when I was a kid it was common for me to hear someone talking to me even I knew that person in question wasn't even in the vicinity...
And to sound cruel I think it was good that I kept my mouth shut about those. No one knows where I'd been after telling Hey, I've hallucinations. I sound crazy enough even now. (In some cultures I'd be shaman because of all the things wrong with my brains. Interesting thought.)

But enough of public self-humiliation for now. Ta-ta.

Interesting findings

I checked my friends page earlier today and happened to check cathouse_blues' journal (just don't ask why, it was cross_stitch where I found her anyway) and found this most interesting link:

And then, I had interesting conversation with something last night... yes, with something:
    Eliza

"Eliza (Weizenbaum 1966) is the first chatterbot -- a computer program that mimics human conversation. In only about 200 lines of computer code, Eliza models the behavior of a psychiatrist (or,more specifically, the "active listening" strategies of a touchy-feely 1960s Rogerian therapist)."

Apparently I should blame Eliza, but I realized something while making lunch today: I haven't been single this long (4 months in next Friday) in nine years. Yes, you read it right... nine years.
Even I have been married in between it's frigging long time, as my marriage lasted only about 2/3 of that time.

Migraine

I had this nasty migrainish feeling in my head few days last week, but it seems to me that I found good cure for that sort of things:

  • 800 mg ibuprofen
  • 700 mg magnesium
  • 2 fish oil pills containing
    • 670 mg omega 3 acids (from which 225 mg is EPA and 170 mg DHA)
    • 800 micrograms vitamin A
    • 5 micrograms vitamin D
    • 10 mg vitamin E
  • 8-9 hours of sleep (though in my case those pain killers quaranteed it)
Served with tap water.

Thing is that ibuprofen did not help as itself (I think that one reason for it was it being a hormone-based migraine)- I tried to survive with it two days, but when I added those nutrients to that mix... voilá!

Scent memory

My scent memory seems to be something interesting.

I bought some incenses today. Normal habit, it's sign of coming autumn. I seem to do this almost every year.
Anyway, I like sandalwood so I bought one packet of sandalwood incense sticks... light it up at home and...

It reminded me of A.. I didn't even remember that he smelled like sandalwood (his apartment smelled like sandalwood too) before now.

I don't miss him. It's not about that, but things came into my mind from last year.
It's almost year since I met A.. It's odd how time passes...

And still no sign of Sonnenschein in here.

Started to wonder how A. is nowadays. Haven't heard from him since May.
