Happy Dance! \o/

As unbelievable as it is we have a finish! Yes, a F-I-N-I-S-H!

• Design: 1st Christmas
• Fabric: one of my own hand-dyeds, apparently32 count opalescent Jobelan(?).
• Floss: White Madeira silk, two HDF's silks.

I am not yet sure which its shape will be so I skipped confetti stitches and will stitch them when I have decided upon the shape, taking that there is room for any.

But, I think this is my FIRST cross stitch finish this year.

Yeah, that is how pathetic it has been.

Still on the face of the Earth

It has been rather hectic week and I am surprised that I have actually found time to stitch.

Anyway, I got some belated birthday goodies in mail Wednesday: Dusty sent me a birthday card and some yummy Splendour silks as part of Birthday Thread Exchange.

They feel absolutely divine so I hope some project yells for them soon. ^^

Head issues

Surprisingly I am still having loads of energy even I have lowered my sertraline dose, but that is only a good thing: I have painted the vestibule (finally!) and reorganized the cleaning cabinet during the weekend and still found time to write emails, idle and stitch! o.O (Though now it's time to slouch a bit and make some coffee... *yawn*)

Colours

More tired I am the brighter the colours get?

I finally decided the design for the monochromatic biscornu exchange at FlossMoms and this Dinky Dyes' silk (as you can see it is much brighter in person) just wanted to be used for it.
The biscornu is almost half done.

The timing couldn't have been better: my asthma has been behaving badly last days - today it decided to freak out completely - and I needed a lift-up.

The colours look just what I anticipated, so I can say right now that the DMC-HDF conversion table Vikki has created is very accurate - but DMC can never look this pretty...
