Blaah: ankle, thyroxine, D3 and yadda yadda.
Well, my ankle was completely ok for a month after starting thyroxine...
Then it wasn't and on Monday I had to see a doctor about it...
The result was: inflamed tendon (which is, based on the doc, quite common issue even months after ankle injury), ton of pain killers and week off - in forced rest.
So - *not* - cool (even though I have now had the advantage of being able to lay next to a fan 24/7 as it has been over +30°C for last week or so (coming to think of it the heatwave started when Mr. Wonderful traveled to Lagos)), as I am dead sure that my thyroid dislikes naproxen even it should not affect to thyroid function in any way (like I would believe that?!) as I don't feel very good.
Well, I upped my thyroxin dose two days ago and quit The N today. Let's see what my thyroid says about it.
On other news I decided to try "unhealthy" dose (at this moment 100µg/ day) of D3 (recommendation in here is 5-10µg/ day, which is way too low in a country with short summer, everyone knows it) as I have been told that it might actually boost thyroid function, but what really made me try it was this: Vitamin D Can Aid Fertility.
"A study has found a link between low levels of Vitamin D and problems with ovulation.- - - The team from Yale University School of Medicine studied 67 infertile women and took Vitamin D measures from them. Only 7 per cent of them had normal vitamin D levels and the rest had either insufficient levels or clinical deficiency.- - -Now that's something.Dr Lubna Pal, from Yale, said: "Of note, not a single patient with either ovulatory disturbance or polycystic ovary syndrome demonstrated normal Vitamin D levels"
(Editorial note: Bolding by yours truly)
Of course the thyroxine will also help with ovulation as it raises my desperately low basal temperature to normal levels and balances hormonal function: at the moment my basal temperature is about 0,5°C higher than it was pre-thyroxine - and I have only used it 6½ weeks.
I am a body yes...

The colour of my passion is...
Your Passion is Purple!
You've got a ton of passion,
but you don't always wear it on your sleeve.
If something truly excites you,
you let your inner intensity shine through.
But otherwise,
your passion tends to morph into energy... which you never lack.
You're a balanced woman,
knowing when to turn on the fire in your heart.
What Type of Passionate Woman Are You?
Yup. My passionate character has been either hated or loved when it comes to partners from past. Mostly it has been loved.
Let me loose and you get a real rollercoaster drive of which you will never recover from.

- I am divorced single with no kids and I'm not looking for a relationship at the moment.
- I'm not employed, but my financial status is relatively stable (as long as I don't have to spend 430 € to the vet...), but because of my concentration problems, which lead me to lose the sense of time, I have a bad habit to pay my bills late.
- I have some chronic illnesses (none of them severe in normal circumstances), I admit having excess weight and I suffer from hereditary insomnia.
- I don't call many people friends, because for me friend is a bit more than just a word, and I have always been somewhat a loner. (There's slight difference between being alone and being lonely...)
- I have small family and my childhood wasn't exactly dancing on roses...

If I were red...
You Are Apple Red
You're never one to take life too seriously, and because of it, you're a ton of fun. And although you have a great sense of humor, you are never superficial.
Deep and caring, you do like to get to the core of people - to understand them well.
However, any probing you do is light hearted and fun, sometimes causing people to misjudge you.

Blaaaaaaaaaah
1. I'm quite pleased that I ditched Cross Stitcher. I got the latest issue yesterday and there's nothing which strikes my fancy nor there will be in next issue - like that'd be much of an issue, as this one was last in my subscription.
2. Despite my migraine I've made some progress with Dovey (though I've spent most of the day sleeping and/or entertaining cats in bed):
This is very quick stitch, and I'd almost swear that I'll have HD within next three weeks. (Yes, that is waste canvas. Last piece of that one I bought over two years ago, that one which made me realise that I'm more severely allergic than I thought. I can use it because it has been washed and because my allergy behaves better than it used to (there's still traces of starch in that fabric, deducing from the fact that I get minor symptoms from handling it)).
3. Futurecast is kitted and I've written its conversion up. Its main colour will be orange, and if I'm happy with the result its colourway may be available for curious souls (Teresa Wentzler is known to give AOKs for publishing conversions - and this particular design is designed as a conversion practise piece).
Coming soon to a blog near you!
Now this was interesting...
Snatched from Ami.
Your EQ is 140
50 or less: Thanks for answering honestly. Now get yourself a shrink, quick!
51-70: When it comes to understanding human emotions, you'd have better luck understanding Chinese.
71-90: You've got more emotional intelligence than the average frat boy. Barely.
91-110: You're average. It's easy to predict how you'll react to things. But anyone could have guessed that.
111-130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt.
131-150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin.
150+: Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you're a dirty liar.
What's Your EQ (Emotional Intelligence Quotient)?
Now, that is lower than my claimed IQ, but surprisingly high noticing how problematic I find social interaction, so even they say that IQ and EQ aren't comparable I might disagree.
And yes, I know this was just a time killer. So? *g*
And now... I'll probably doze off any time soon...
