Noticing that I only stitched one night whilst playing WoW and chatting I got tons done. If I had got the opportunity to stitch every night I had done two of these.

I bought this design shortly after Tiny was born and my intention has been from the beginning to stitch him an ornament for this Yule.
This is a small and fun project to stitch and I am using leftover silks for it. The fabric is those ones I dyed... 2007 or 2008. I thought it would look nice with the silks I chose (and unfortunately I don't have bright pink fabric, which Tiny would love 
There is also some stashy content to be blogged about, but I'll do that on better time. I am supposed to clean around a bit...

Before I forget... finished Woodland Snowfall:
I had a reason to stitch it... it was a supposed to be a replacement ornament sent to one participant in ornament exchange at EMS, and I did sent it to Singapore... She just happened to receive both original and mine approximately at the same time (which was few days ago, hence the picture).
(Piece of unnecessary information... I Googled Woodland Snowfall and guess whose blog was fourth hit? *grin* "Look Mommy, I'm in the internet.")

Birthday fairy made an order from Casa Cenina... (though I excused some things for myself too, and got one of the beads for Seasonal Dragons (they were discounted)!)
I've to say that they've excellent customer service. I wanted to pay my order with European Bank Transfer instead of credit card as in my case it was faster (it takes at least three days to get credits loaded) and there aren't any transaction fees when it's interunion transfer. They replied to all my stupid questions within hours and were very willing to serve.
Now order is processed, as they've received my payment, and mailed out. Wonderful! I'll recommend them (even they're not the cheapest one with everything they have great selection, and I'm willing to pay for service).
It's good that I've spent my stitchy money for the month already... otherwise I'd have been obliged to buy this. (*sob*)
Otherwise... must-be-finished-last-month project hates me, or the design just isn't compatible with my brain wave patterns. Counting mistake after another, followed by frantic frogging, and now it seems to me that I've to leave the other half completely off because I'll run out of floss otherwise (and as I use hand-dyed...), which also means that I've frog quite bit... It hates me and I've become to hate it, I just want to get it finished.
As you may have guessed by now rotation is out of the window at the moment, though I think I can get back to it in the end of the week (I'll knit bits_2_whole's warmers daily, in between stitching, due the problems with brain shutdown when knitting plain knit - and with that method I may actually finish them on time, though I still have to figure out the problem with lacking few necessary rows (no, I can't just knit them because they'd get too long)).
And I need to decide my SAT piece for this month, as this weekend will be the third weekend of month... Either Alter Echo or Ezmeralda's House - or maybe I just stitch pile of exchange items (but that'd be so boring, no pictures and all that

Official ornaments for my parents are now finished: 1998 Christmyth, which I stitched earlier this year, and Santa's Trimmings ([gutter] who would have guessed that Santa is into BDSM? 
Though, as you see, Santa is framed, as I happened to have suitable frame and I wasn't in the mood to try that method I intended to use.

Anyway, I'll stitch Yule ornaments for my parents: Santa's Trimmings for my mother, just because she loves gnomes and santas, and something for my father just for the equality - and it does as a gift too (aren't I sneaky?).
It has been Head, meet wall kind of day... which I've spent by drinking too much coffee (that Starbucks' mug is bad for you...), stitching, not AE, but Santa's Trimmings (only picture I found of it trough Google... is stitched by Jenna! It's a small world) - just because I need some cutesy to cheer me up - and cleaning a bit.
I had in mind while placing my order to Silkweaver that I might find suitable fabric for ST from those treat bags, and I was right. There was perfect misty blue hand-dyed, even in right size. They knew...
Doesn't look much of a Santa (or joulupukki as we call him (and direct translation is... Yule goat)) yet.
In other news Linda's biscornu is packed to go, as are both angels - they'll begin their trips tomorrow.
And I need to find new storage boxes for all my fabrics. I did some reorganization and now I've one box with hand-dyeds and other which has only regular colours. The problem is that I need separate boxes for my regular linens and mixed fabrics because they barely fit in their box... I still remember when one box was more than enough.

It was great mail day, I got my OE ornament from Lana and my Small Odds and Ends Treat Bags from Silkweaver.

In addition to that I got chocolates, which didn't survive long enough to be photographed, as, either surprisingly or out of knowledge, there wasn't anything I couldn't eat (ok, wheat, but I can tolerate it in small amounts). *burb*

And as a note: I decided it after signing up to this exchange... it was my last exchange even distantly related to Yule/ Christmas. It just doesn't feel right anymore. I'll keep making yearly ornament at least to my mother (I'm still not sure about my father), and maybe occasional ornament for a misc. friend, but that's it.

There's enough to swim in it! And it was only $31 with postages! Most of them are linens! There's two 40 counts! The colours are gorgeous!
And this is my new love! (Is it illegal to marry a piece of fabric (not just a fabric, it's 40 count Newcastle!)?)

I had got to bed, but got up to have a cup of tea, checked my email and... well, after I saw the design I had to kit up "a bit"...

Ornaments
I've ditched my first idea considering Ornament Exchange (at LBBB), did the same with second idea, and now I've found the perfect design to stitch for my partner and I know how I'll finish it. I'll try something I've never done, but only in case I can find certain thing(s) I need for such a finish.
I really should think what to do for my parents, though I've been thinking of using Jules for my mother's ornament, but I've to see about J... and when it comes to my father's one I don't have slightest idea - of course not doing it is also an idea.
Startitis?
I'm working on secret project (yes, I seem to have enough of that sort at the moment) and I'm having issues with it. I usually like to stitch designs from that designer, I love to work with overdyeds, I love to stitch on linen, but still something keeps me on wanting to do something else.
Actually I want to (finally) start The Greatest Treasure, as the baby whom will receive it should born approximately in mid November. And as I promised to tell you later whose baby it is I think now is the time to do it: Dan and his SO are awaiting.
Anyway, to my startitis... I've couple of projects I should do, but no, here I am drooling after my next project-to-be (note to self: buy canned air and clean laptop's keyboard). Gah!
So, in case some of you has some finish-those-projectsitis please email it to me. Thank you for your co-operation.
Friends Gather BB has monthly 24 hour challenge (you choose a design which you could stitch in 24 hours and see can you do it) and I think that I'll participate those coming ones with... ornaments. Not to-be kept ones, but those which I'll send in the end of the year to misc. persons. It's a bit early maybe, but at least I can force myself to do those - even 24 hour challenge is not a competition, it's motivational thing. But as I'm procrastinator I'll need that.
And one more SAL in sight
Kristine from Dragonfly Stitches will have needlebook SAL in the end of February, and as I've participated two of her previous SALs and have loved both designs I'm participating no matter what. (This coming design will be only available for a week, and never again (as a freebie) after it so real once in a lifetime opportunity.)

I'm going to start with 5th pattern of Best Friends today (SAL at Linabear BB), as I've been delaying it far too long because of those ongoing projects. I'll have a mini rotation and I stitch this dalmatian and Silhouettes in turns.
Ornaments for my parents (Better than cards IMO). Small, nice and simple. I think that all together they took about 6-7 hours of my time.

And fun thing is that Pink Featherduster in fact looks nice when stitched even it doesn't look that nice in a bobbin.
In fact it reminds me of strawberry chocolate ice cream.
I think that there was my Yuletide stitching. I even remembered to send that card yesterday - I just forgot to take a picture of it...
... of course I could stitch Hanuka (Chanukah to English speakers.... 
To-dos before Yule:
Of course I could take free kits I've stored to wait for better/ duller day and make them. In fact I've been thinking that some of those kits would do great SOLAK squares (I just need to bigger pieces of fabric to make them on).
Oh my... I've one card I should send. Got to remember that when I go to "town" next time.
