They should come and take me away, ha-ha (once again)...

In bad news: I have to make something to protect my left palm not to be exposed to staples in my frame while stitching. That darned nickel allergy reminds me of itself again.... try to hold a frame when your hand is itching like h**l.
And no pictures of our furry, little friend as I've no batteries in my camera (once again).

But on more brighter note: I see forecoming stash. Got an email from Violarium that my order has been shipped, so, with some luck it's in here tomorrow! (And if not tomorrow, it should arrive in Friday, as it's coming only from other side of Finland.)
This means that I'll order again from there (good service equals one happy /me)(actually I have a reason to do it... Check Leena's latest entry, there's La Maison Douce to which, even it's not "my style", I got fond of. This means that I've ("have") to buy certain issue of De fil en aiguille... some day).

Did someone say gore?

I have to do this... I [heart] zombies! How can I defend myself? I love zombies, I am gore (Just call me Tipper) and I love to play with words.
If I could just remember did I order any crimson red floss today...

It's official...

...I've lost my mind.

I've been stitching my fob for SFE and as I am loving it, stitching over one (even I say it myself it'll look gorgeous when finished), I have been thinking of Ezmeralda's House again.
It'd be incredibly, amazingly cute over one on 40 count fabric (its finished size would be approximately 10cm x16cm). And in certain sense it'd also be insane project noticing that my eyesight isn't best one ever, I suffer from migraines etc., but... you know how it is: crazy stitcher doesn't really care about facts is she has a good idea.

When it comes to backstitched texts in that design I've an idea which might work, or might not (I think I should actually stitch a test piece): backstitching over one. I did it on my CCLE item, and it was rather fun, and it looks great.

The question is...

...do I want to learn to knit in English?
And the reason for this question is Snowball's Chance in Hell, which would be great birthday+Yule gift for bits_2_whole - it seems to me that tendency for being more or less goth runs in a family... Though I've heard it more than once that we (b2w and me) are freakingly similar in certain way - though the colours should be changed. (I can't help having the idea of Hello Skull-y: black base and pink furry skulls...)
Though this one is also very tempting...

And those official links...

Cats and becoming mail

My mom bought radiator bed for her cats couple of years ago, and they didn't like it for some reason so she gave it to me just to try it - as my Siamese loves warmth...
Well, she likes it. And so do the boys:

As the angle isn't best one, here's better picture of radiator bed in use (none of my cats though):

(here's instructions how to make it yourself (seems to work only with IE)).

And when it comes to mail... Angela mailed me and told she has sent Mystic Dragon II for me so it should get here in the next week. She had also received her magazine (extra copies....) and loved those GASTs I sent her (as a 'sample'. She had asked from me how they're and I thought she should try them herself).

And rest of the day I will... stitch. I want to finish stitching part of my VE item. I really want to see it finished as I've gotten bit fond of it.
Maybe I have to do one for myself later... And that's what I need: more 2-dos.

Success.

My first SECE card is in it's destination. And my SP liked it.

Here's a pic, lousy one once again as my cam is what it is... (It really looks much better IRL)

Pattern is a freebie from Grace Designs, stitched with two different shades of DMC's variegated thread.
Attached with double-sided tape to violet hand-made paper (English instructions for paper making). Card base is basic white base.

Other things.

I was reading fellow stitcher's blog and found this link from there: No Sew Cube. (Warning. That page takes a while to load.) I think that's something I could try some day.
