On Round Robins
While stitching on Jenna's piece I was thinking of round robins and I think that Teresa Wenztler themed RR would be nice to participate to. I have seen some RRs which consist from different borders of designs of TW and they look great.
One of the advantages of such RR would be the fact that it had to be stitched on plainweave so no aida stitching there, and, people who stitch TWs are usually rather skilled stitchers which would lessen the worry over the quality of work on the piece.
Though I have also played with the idea of having RR consisting of Dragon Dreams' Elemental Dragons.
Shawl
My mother kind of promised to knit me a shawl in December because since my asthma broke down my outer body temperature has been incredibly low. This means that I have, for example, used my winter clothes since beginning of September (it still is ~+16 °C during days) because it has been so cold...
Anyway, I promised to provide my mother a link if I find some shawl pattern I'd like, and latest Knitty had it: Muir.

Things that disturb the disturbed
Part gazillion and one.
I had a dream about one of my course mates... it was nothing drastic, in general at one phase of one dream he wrapped his arms around me after I fell asleep (in the dream - silly really: one sleeps in a dream), but it disturbs me for some reason. Maybe because it felt good and he is so *not* my type. Maybe because I actually have a reason (or rather reasons) to believe that he has a thing for me, a thing called crush.
Which is very understandable, noticing how absolutely adorable I am...
Nevertheless, it's very confusing (Finnish men just do not usually have a thing for me, unless they are unhappily married or otherwise desperately lonely - which kind of explains why I haven't been on too many dates (read: none) with men of Finnish origin last three years).
I just finished little something for little someone, but as it is a gift I won't reveal it before it has been received.
By the way, new ¡The Anticraft! is out.
Ok, I said that I won't participate April's Stitch-A-Thon, but... all the sudden, I hear Loy calling me from its plastic bag... and I could use a break... and I was actually thinking today how wonderful it will be when I get to stitching their dresses with all the colour changes...

Things that make you go Aww!, or, WTH?!: Adopt-A-Sheep.
It sounds like a lot of money, but adult sheep can produce up to 13.5 kilos of wool per annum so it adds up to be quite reasonable price.
I'm surprised... I've been shopping (1., 2. and 3.), paid rent, been eating... and I still have money. About twice as much I've usually at this phase of the month.
It makes one wonder what I've forgot...

Now, don't you think that our little B.J. would do a great pincushion? *g*
Anyway, I've been wondering lately why tea causes problems (stomach related, you get the picture) to me nowadays (actually black tea has always been in that way more or less) and I think I found a reason: I'm oversensitive to theophylline, which is found from tea.
Silly thing in this is that usually people consider tea better to your health than coffee... I have no problems what so ever with coffee (taking that I don't drink it excessively) - in case it's of good quality, cheap coffee freaks my body out.
I was thinking of the Morning Wizard issue and I may end up finishing it before I start Ezzy. Why? Because... I'd get one unplanned finish for November and it'd look good in my goal list (btw, I've already reached four goals out of seven).
Knitting snowballs
When it comes to bits_2_whole's wrist warmers... it'll be a bit more complicated project than I anticipated.
I don't know why, but according to the instruction you should knit those things and embroider the motifs afterwards (actually during knitting), which I do understand as they're supposed to be knit as a stockinette (forgive me my possible terminology mistakes, I know my knitting lingo only in Finnish), but I can't understand why they have been designed to be worked like that?
As, IMO, it'd be easier to knit with regular needles, make those motifs with intarsia and sew them as stockinettes when finished. That is how I'm going to do it, but... I need to modify the design, and actually rewrite those instructions to suit for my, easier, way.
I've started them, I cast gauge sample today and knit one row. We're getting there.
When it comes to Panda I've been stitching some bamboo leaves, but not much actually... *sigh*
Firstly: there's still plenty of room in my Pay It Forward list (Ash, in or not? *grin*). Be courageous and jump in! You don't need to know me personally (but you got to trust me enough to give me your email (and snail mail address when asked)), just have a blog so you can forward this - actually this'd work also without it with some modifications.
You can decide your own time limits, and no one says it has to be big piece of art. And think of the unique piece you'll be getting from me.
(chanda_m's piece is in my head (big head, you see), though it lacks some details and I may have do some experimenting before tackling the actual piece.)

In other news...
I spent last night by destroying Africa's coastal line.
No, I wasn't playing a game, nor designing some nice fjords, I was frogging one old project (Antique World Map by Jane Greenoff) to get that fabric in better use and realised that it is big enough to be used on Loy - after I dye it, honey may not be the best choice of colour in that particular project (as it wasn't best possible choice for that map). So, even I never thought/planned it, Loy will be stitched on 28 count linen.
And
I love cabled sweaters, but most patterns out there either lack something or are designed for tiny folks. This one is perfect(tm). (Now... I should've purple yarn in my wardrobe, and there might even be enough of it... though it may be a bit too thin. Well, got to knit gauge sample.)
It seems that I'm getting my knitting bug back. I used to be knitter, before I found stitching. One of my dark secrets. *grin*

On samplers
Odd things has happened to my taste with designs lately... Year ago I was ready to make one exception, and one exception only (that being AE), to my No samplers allowed policy, but now... I've gotten fond of few Long Dog Samplers' samplers.
As we know, I'm curious as a cat and one day when I checked Leena's blog she mentioned St. Hippolyte which she's model stitching for her own business. Now, it doesn't look that good in sample picture, but changing the fabric makes the difference: look at this.
And /me wants that design - and actually I want this and this too. They are not the cheapest designs, but they're huge.

Just got an email... My Silkweaver order has been shipped! 
I bought my first knitting pattern online: Scarlet Woman Sleeveless Tank.
It was way too gorgeous to miss, and what's best, it has sizes to 54'' which is nice for someone whose bust is *cough* ~50''.
And when it comes to knitting how about some pumpkins? Cute, don't you think?
