Good morning

Considering entry with SBQ... I have had one slogan in my mind lately, due this continuous high I am having... Who needs drugs when you can design?
You know, I feel like I was in love - and admittedly I spend as much time with my software than I'd do with a SO if I had one... But I like it up here in the clouds.

I'm beginning to sound like that person who I was with Wolfie, don't I? All this gushing (but I think it was I who said that she misses that person, I got what I wished for)...
(Talking of Wolfinho... it's almost a year since he popped to my life. Silly thing. (I think I have to harass him a bit one of these days. *evil grin*))

Skin Care aka. She knew what she was talking of...

When I had my first appointment at Skin and Allergy Hospital I had a chat with one nurse (as mentioned) and when I complained about water's drying effect she said that I should consider buying bath oil and rub it to my skin when showering, to prevent my skin from drying excessively during winter months, and it seems to me that she had an idea in that advice. I bought a bottle of bath and massage oil last time we made our regular cosmetics order from Dermosil and have used that stuff for couple of times already. It really makes the difference. My skin is actually soft after shower and I have no need to run to closest moisturiser container right away.
I just hope my skin won't develop problem on the sesame oil that stuff contains...

Stitcher in a sphere

You notice interesting things while stitching... "My nail polish seems to be metallic shade of DMC's 815..."
So, nowadays I choose nail polish colour (I bought this few days ago) according to DMC colour charts? Should I be worried? Or is it just one of those things..?

Anyway, we had some progress:

This is one of my favourite parts in this design. Every stitcher needs little sphere where to hide from the world and stitch the night away!

Beware...

Tomorrow there should be some yarn porn (my favourite term in knitty lingo, btw), as two crazy crafters head to Novita's (Finnish yarn manufacturer) factory store... (Good thing is that they don't accept my Electron, nor my mother's Visa...)
I might also try to lure her with me in Hobby Point (it wouldn't be the first time)...

Random blabbering

Sometimes I wonder should I change my blog's name a bit (again)... I seem to have tendency to read it as My wife with the polar bears...

And it seems to me that I may get back my habit of using nail polish. I got manicure and pedicure in Sunday (and foot massage - guess who paid (I think I've said something about he being a sweetheart) it all?), and as my nails look good and even better with the nail polish (even my teeny weeny toenails)... I want more of this!
I just need to figure out how not to ruin the looks of my nails in one day. (Yes, it seems to me that I use my fingers quite much as nail polish wears off fast. (note to self: nail polish remover and bottle of polish?))
Any ideas?

(Hmm... nail polish. Polish person with nails (in every meaning of the word)? Catch Polish? *grin*)

Something makes me wonder... Someone added me to their friends list in Last.FM and as I'm curious little thing I did some research. Person in question seems to friend only females in about my age whose location is Thailand. It makes you think, though I'm not saying one has no right to do so. It's just curious. (Or maybe I'm just too practical because I add only people I actually know (and most of them I've even met (some sort of record for me, I think))... Hey, it looks better if everyone in your friends list has befriended you. *grin*)

Good hair day, BS and whining.

First day in this week I've good hair day, and apparently I've to thank my new shampoo. It seems to me that it's not only my skin which dislikes central heating, my hair tends to dry also during winter - at least nowadays.
I ordered moisturizing shampoo when I made that cosmetics order few days back and that parcel arrived yesterday - think about that: I placed an order in Tuesday evening and goodies were behind my door ~11:30 in Thursday morning (not to mention that postages were 0€ and it included home-delivery).
In fact I've also good face day, don't know why though as I've been bit blue lately. (Worrying about things I can't affect in any way; sucks to be me.) Anyway, while putting my war paint (or make-up, what ever) on I realized something. It's bit hilarious that for someone as blonde/ pale as I am carmine red lip gloss is not too dark (as I feared). In fact it's exactly same shade as my own natural colour is. Now I understand why people sometimes have difficulties to believe that I don't use lipstick.

And as I'm talking about look related things I add few words about colours and their affect... Black (more like anti-colour) seems to be something I need to stay sane. And preferably very much of it. Few days ago I tested and wore completely normal colours, dark beige+ burgundy, and felt bit odd whole day. After it I've used mostly black and felt much better.
Today... dark beige corduroys and I've no problems using them, but I've black shirt.
Anyway, it's quite interesting how some colour just seems to be so deep in my personality that I feel incomplete without it.

LNS and general stash shopping.

I emailed my LNS owner yesterday with specification of those items I haven't received from her. There's one chart I've ordered about six months ago and still haven't got it... Most of them have been ordered over two months ago and I haven't heard from them since (my euros were nice anyway).... I've decided not to order anything from her for some time, and not before I get everything I've paid for. And it's very possible that I will move my stash collecting euros to online stores abroad.

I'm irritated because I could have got those things faster ordering them from UK or USA, with same price or even cheaper. And I'm irritated that she hasn't answered to me yet, as normally she answers very quickly.

And I got email from Willow Fabrics yesterday. There has been some problem with my card when they've tried to process my order. It bothers me as there's money in my account and WF approves Electrons... Well, I'll know more when I get answer from my bank.
