Among all the wonderfulness I got to hear that a family friend of ours had been diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease this summer and he was unconscious.
I just heard that he has died day before yesterday, in the evening.

The couple is our parents' old, old friends so they are about the same age our parents are. It really makes you think...
And I saw the man only few months ago and he was completely healthy and lively.
